We took the wood cutting board class with Mitchell who was funny and welcoming. This class is appropriate for ALL skill levels - even zero shop experience. The cost of the class is not much more than the cost of the size of the cutting board you make so it is a great value. I hope to do other classes soon! Super fun.

I was given a woodturning class as a gift. Richard was an awesome teacher. He answered all my questions and taught me how to set up a lathe and prep the wood attorney. I now know how to set up my lathe to turn a bowl. I feel confident I will be making lots of bowls in the near future.

Had a chance to stop in recently. Well worth the two hour drive from my home in southern Oklahoma. Super friendly and very helpful guys and gal. Answered all my questions, helped me make some wood selections, and were happy to cut the longer pieces to fit in the bed of my truck. Will definitely be shopping here again at every opportunity!

I Love Wood World. Having just recently decided to learn the ancient craft of turning wood into useful things; they are super helpful.
If you are not careful, you could end up coming home with a whole bunch of Walnut like I did.

Stopped in here last week because I was looking for wood table tops. I immediately saw that it wasn't that type of store but I was intrigued and looked around. Saw some pretty wood slabs still with the bark on them and asked what it would take to make them into table tops. The gentleman I spoke with was very helpful and I decided to give it a try. Wood World is the perfect spot if you’re looking for quality wood and great service. I’m new to woodworking (and relatively new to this area) and have heard from many that this is the best shop around. They have a great selection of all the staple woods—you only get two or three options at big box stores but here there’s lots of different types of walnut oak and cherry, things like that to choose

I enjoy Wood World. The selection is the best that I've found around here and they seem to cater to hobbyists rather than larger scale contractors. My only complaint would be that the prices are quite high. I don't mind paying good money for quality wood but I wouldn't be mad if they were a little more affordable.
Their wood selection is leagues ahead of Rockler. And places like Hardwood Lumber C
