When hail season comes back around, you'll have your pick of roofing companies literally at your door. If you pick Vertex, you may wind up a leaking roof and unreturned phone calls, like me.

The sales lady just came out for an estimate, didn't even get up on the roof and tried telling me I needed a completely new roof. She kept asking me how much I got from insurance. I have gotten 4 other estimates from credible bonded and insured roofing companies and the estimate was $700 bucks (300 of that goes to the engineer to check) NOT A WHOLE NEW ROOF FOR $7000. Highest recommendation. Vertex replaced a roof on one of my properties approximately 18 months ago. The owner was easy to deal with, prices competitively, and started work within days.
Workers inspmaintained a clean worksite and were professional in their interactions with me and neighbors.
Bottom line, the roof went through a hurricane and there was not a shingle out of place.

Very unreliable company, never have heard so many excuses, one after another after they failed to show up more than 3 times. First excuse, was they went to port aransas thinking that's where our address was... sounds pretty incompetent and unorganized as a company if you ask me. The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. I realize I’m the hurricane aftermath, things are busy, but... this company cancelled an appraisal the morning of with no follow up call. Then after I had written them off, Nick called and apologized and said he’d do everything to make it right.
