We spoke to multiple ocompanies including some pretty well known flooring brands to get carpet installed in multiple rooms in our home. In every case we felt that we were not getting value and the quotes were well above our expectations, and accompanied with some pretty hard selling. There was just zero confidence that we were being taken care of.

Tried to get a rough estimate on my home carpet project to get my house ready to sell but they refused to give me pricing information for installing.
As someone who works in flooring but does not sell carpet, I find it shady that you won’t give potential customers the information needed to make an educated purchase.
