I had a leak that would require extensive repairs; my insurance company did estimates, gave me a check, and left me to handle the rest. Insurance guy had mentioned having ServPro come out to do an estimate, so I did. ServPro recommended an extraction fan. I agreed, reluctantly, but I had not "hired" them or signed anything, and they didn't tell me the cost
