We had a serious issue with our master shower that turned into a nightmare. The original builder’s contractors had actually cut into the shower pan to lay the tile flat instead of correcting the pan itself. Over time, water began escaping through the wall and soaking the carpet in our master closet, causing mold and damage to baseboards and drywall. It wasn’t something that was immediately obvious
