Needed to find a good board to make some kitchen cutting boards, was able to look thru different piles at my leisure and pick the best board. Wood price was good and milling service was reasonably priced and quick.

In working on a project I came across HLC and found them to be incredibly knowledge about wood; its origin, how it evolves into various patterns, which pieces can be milled well, and valuable advice. Great ongoing and rotating inventory, fast to assist and get your order filled. They maintain the largest dust collection machine I've ever see, it could likely power the Hoover Dam. Their Planner

You can select your own boards from their stacks. Great selection of offcuts on the sale rack. Perfect for projects where you just need a small piece of exotic wood. Friendly to women and novice woodworkers.

This place is amazing! They have a huge selection of hardwood lumber and slabs and the employees were helpful and super friendly. Chris helped me choose a good species to pair with our breakfast table which has a real teak base that my wife got from her job at a considerable discount. We didn't want to pay teak prices for the chairs I'm building so he suggested a couple of options which would matc

These guys are first class , if its wood they have it. Their prices are better and the selection is incredible. If your a hobbiest or a cabinet maker give these guys a call, you wont be disappointed.

Awesome experience, found them online. They had a great variety of wood to choose from. Chris was great and even plained the wood for us. Definitely will be returning to buy all our wood for our customer guitar builds.
