Went to Groom and sons last Saturday for a small piece of chain and received absolutely no help. I was told he couldn’t help because he couldn’t leave the register although he was able to leave it to get pricing info.

Great place if you need handyman advice for the DIY person or just need to pick up some things for a project! The team if very knowledgeable! Pleasant and kind customer service!

I miss this and most other hardware stores around here being small family owned businesses. It’s worth something getting help from employees that are experienced experts in what you’re looking for. However, this place has been bought out by a large group of investors along with many other hardware stores from East Texas to Dallas. It’s owed by Nations Best Holdings. So you’re paying higher prices

Love this place!
Perfect name. They are very helpful, but the best is all the variety of items they carry.
Wonderful to look at all the neat non hardware items.
Local honey, old goats pain cream, among many other great decorative items.
Well worth the stop to shop.
Even have neat kids riding toys.

Always shop at this store. They always have what I need and want. The staff is always nice and friendly wanting to help in what I need. Thank y'all so much.

Daughter wanted her ATV bumpers painted hot pink. Grabbed two cans from Groom and Son's one ended up being orange (cap was pink and said pink but sprayed orange) They swapped it out and made it right for me even though the mistake wasn't on them. Good people highly recommend.

Great except need to be able. To write my checks for my purchases. I have written checks in your establishment 2 times in a little over a week ago but this gentleman I had to use my psychology credit card. He was very nice about everything. He does follow rules. Thank you. Paulette waldron
