The workers there are so helpful, kind, and courteous. What ever you need they take you to it or go get for you. It's your preference. They are knowledgeable about the products in the store at least what ever I have questions for. Great store!

This store has some of the best most helpful employees I have ever dealt with anywhere. I shopped Piggly Wiggly decades ago and decided to give the Athens location a try. I enjoyed the friendly cashier and the variety of selections offered. A perfect, quick stop for the few things I needed and I will return.

As soon as i walked in door I was greeted she asked if could help I asked her where a item i needed would be she walked ne to aisle and showed where I could find them was refreshing this day an time to be helped!!

We are new to the area since finding out about Groom &Sons' HARDWARE. This will be our go to store when ever we're in Athens Texas. The staff are friendly, the store is clean and they are very knowledgeable about what you are looking for. They also greet you at the door when you enter which it appreciated. Makes it easy for in and out quick shopping.
