City Lumber Co. is more than a hardware company; it is a store with its personality. I talked to one of the original owner's sons for a couple of minutes, who told me that the establishment had existed for almost seventy years. His father passed away a couple of years ago, and his sons have continued their father's legacy. They are now retiring, and a young entrepreneur bought the store and will e

City Lumber is now my go-to store. Helpful and very experienced staff who go out of their way to help customers. You’ll be amazed when you compare them to a big box store! Prices are great too.

Always a great experience. Audie and Scotty the owners are kind and servant hearted. My grandfather used to buy lumber here when I was a kid in the early 70's. They still have the little bottled cokes grandpa would occasionally buy me.

Outstanding customer service, and a good selection of native/exotic woods to choose from. Every bit worth the drive past any of the big box stores.

Great customer service and personal touch. They had the historical specialty siding in stock that I needed to match my existing siding, to my surprise and delight. (Lowes did not even have a way to order it) There is a store area with hardware items in addition to the lumber yard. I will be coming here as much as I can instead of Lowes. Thank you!

I love going to these small businesses because you get much friendly excellent service and attended better. I had a good experience in this place at City Lumber.I told the man what I needed and he assisted me with great friendly service. He gave me good ideas of what I needed for my project. I recommend City Lumber for your lumber needs.

I visited with the intent of browsing for a coffee table project and needed some help. I have never been greeted with or received so much help from a shop staff. I was shown several options and they even showed me what the stain would look like on a sample board. I cannot speak highly enough of the gentlemen at City Lumber Co.
