I was stranded outside Chalmers Ace Hardware after making a small purchase. The staff who helped me with my purchase were very knowledgeable in their services. Then the owner Sherry amazed me with her caring assistance to get me on the road again. They exemplify small town customer caring in a very nice store. They should be your first choice in Galveston.

Excellent service and a good selection of good quality hardware items from tools to all kind of hard to find gadgets. Staff is attentive and ready to solve your needs of all kinds of hardware items. I came on looking for a couple of suction cups, and I was promptly guided to their location, and left within minutes.

After going to about 4 different places that only offered the most regular key copies, I finally found this spot. They had excellent service, were very friendly, and offered a great price. If you need key duplication or any type of key, this is the best place in Galveston!

They replaced my key fob battery and gave me info on the town when I first moved. Btw Y'all told me to go to a to find a bartending job on S when I asked where to go..... first one I went to was bar 43 and I still work there when not throwing luggage ,
so thanks!! 🙏..Good folks. Highly recommend.

Great hardware store with plenty of help! They have a little bit of everything but don’t overwhelm you with too broad of a selection. Good selection of spray paints, fasteners, hardware, paint brushes, and tools. All the employees were super friendly and met us at the door to help. Glad this place is on the island in such a good location. This will be my new go-to hardware shop.

Had a really difficult problem when I purchased a sink and the drain had no fitting available. Employees are very apologetic and suggested I go to an auto parts store and get a hose for the conversion. It worked nicely. I highly recommend this hardware store they have a lot of great stuff there and are very helpful.

I would drive to Houston to buy something before I would patronize this store!!!! I ordered keys for my truck and wanted the to copy them, they refused only because I didn't buy the keys from them. I wasn't asking for it to be done for free, I just wanted them copied from my original key. More than willing to pay for their service. Companies like them are a part of whats wrong with our country tod
