My husband and I had been shopping for a live edge coffee table for quite a while. Thankfully, I found BlackHawk Millworks on the internet and stopped by for a visit. I was blown away by their incredible work. Doug and Natalia were extremely helpful, friendly and professional, not to mention exceptionally skilled in their trade. I came to Blackhawk Millworks looking to have a wall mount made with Texas wood (mesquite) for a wedding gift. With limited details, Natalia was able take a section of wood and turn it into a work of art. I love the end product and I’m certain my English friend across the pond will Love it too. Superb workmanship!

I met Doug and his wife at their shop in San Marcos to pick out live edge slabs of pecan for an upcoming project. They are hands down the best source for this type of wood. Doug showed me all my options and couldn’t be happier with my selections. A++++ service!!

My first experience in commissioning a custom made table, but now that I’ve met the folks at Blackhawk Millworks, it won’t be my last. The selection of wood, table edges, resin, and table legs was all new to me but Doug and Natalia were so patient with my inexperience and we were able to get what we both needed to create my vision. Doug is a very friendly owner. He took the time to show us around his shop and tell us about his operation. He has beautiful raw lumber and slabs of wood. But it’s his work that is second to none.
