Amazing place to visit! Be sure to allow a couple of hours when you come. The owner is very knowledgeable about the history of the building.
Any questions ask him or his staff.
Here you'll find a 2 story building. The 2nd floor will greet you stairs from the Oleander Hotel built in 1812. You'll find fun, interesting, antiques in each of the themed rooms. I love this place! It is said to be haunte

This IS the place to check out for all your antique, vintage, and retro needs. This shop has ALL the goods from salvaged architecture to glassware and the history of the building is the cherry on top. The guys were so friendly, also. I will be coming back to Galveston just for the place.

Great,fun,place to visit,lots to see.
We stopped in Dickens on the Strand weekend.Ms Kim who works there has a great artist spirit, she was so much fun to talk to. She told interesting things about the building, the theatre ,history of the city. She even gave us a great restaurant recommendation, we really enjoyed dining there that very evening.
Thank you so much.

We stopped in just to browse, but made a purchase when I found something I was actually looking for! We were treated as welcome guests, and they answered any questions we had about pricing. If you like antiques, you will love THIS place because it's a bit like a museum, but everything is for sale. I very nearly made several impulse purchases. SO much to see!

Found this gem of an Antique Store this past weekend. Scott, his wife and the staff were also gems. Wish we lived closer so we could go by more, but it is being added to our list for the place we have to go to every time we are on the island. We left with a Garfield sheet, Disney sheet, a pillow cover and a Character Readings machine ❤️ If you are in Galveston you HAVE to stop in.

We went in looking to chat with Scott but he wasn't in. We looked around to see if we could find floor trim to no avail. Scott has been very helpful in the past with hardwood flooring advice as well as providing us with needed shiplap!

Very cool place! Definitely worth a visit. The building is the best antique of all!

This place was nostalgic. It had so much to look at. The building itself was full of history.
